In his interview for The Telegraph.co.uk Jim mentioned that ‘the village’ wasn’t a set constructed for The Prisoner but that it’s a real settlement in the town of Swakopmund in Namibia.

The second photo comes with the description:

'A' Frame Chalets, Swakopmund Rest Camp, Namibia

update: these chalets were used for the remake of The Prisoner starring Jim Caviezel and Ian McKellen. Port Meirion has been replaced by Swakopmund. Having been to both, it’s a very apt substitution.
